Yes, I well knew about the Colonisation from Spain. If it was not for the USS Maine I would have never visited your Philippines. Where I was born in Key West,FL.they have some of the sailors buried there. In fact one of my ancestors presided over the flag exchange in the acquisition of Florida from Spain for the payment of a debt;Robert Butler. He also surveyed most of Florida. There is a lot of connections here.
